His work in the Superman series of films was truly iconic. However, much of the original scores from this masterful animation series has been lost to time. Modest Mussorgsky -- Pictures at an Exhibition

Originally penned as a tribute to his dear friend, artist, architect, and designer, Viktor Hartmann, Mussorgsky’s work has transcended time and place with its memorable Promenade sequence. Instantly recognizable, this refrain links musical passages as an admirer makes his way through an exhibition of pictures produced by his friend. Each "picture" is treated lovingly by the composer and will inspire amazing images in the mind of the audience.
